Richibouctou-Village

Richibouctou-Village, one of Kent County's oldest Acadian settlements, saw its first permanent resident arrive from Memramcook around 1788. Pierre Richard, like the other pioneers of this village, was looking for new land. Fisheries and agriculture were the two main economic sectors. Today, Richibouctou-Village's main economic activity is fishing and fish processing.
