Nine key moments ordered chronologically, present the history of the Grand Dérangement and the Deportation. Short texts and biographies depict this important segment of Acadie's history and also provide an overview of the periods that came before and after it, from the arrival of the first pioneer families in colonial Acadie to the development of Acadian nationalism in the 19th century.

More than 4,000 digitized documents, including documentary and cartographical archives and literary and artistic works accompany this chronology of the Grand Dérangement and the Deportation and will allow visitors to better understand the key elements of the history of the Acadians.
