Beresford

The pioneers of the town of Beresford arrived with their families around the end of the 18th century. Leaving Nipisiguit (Bathurst), the Arsenaults, Boudreaus and Doucets wanted to settle on new land that they could own. Beresford is renowned today as New Brunswick's "housing capital" because of its numerous industries related to residential construction.
