Saulnierville

Saulnierville was established around the middle of the 1780s by a group of Acadian families, Boudreaus, Comeaus, Doucets, Melansons, Robichauds, Saulniers and Thériaults. Since its early days, Saulnierville has always been an important site for fishing and fish processing. This village is home to Radio Clare, the only French community radio station in southwestern Nova Scotia.
