Petit-Rocher

The first Caisse populaire acadienne opened its doors in Petit-Rocher in 1936. Today, the municipality is home to the head offices of the Association francophone des municipalities du Nouveau-Brunswick, the Société des Jeux de l'Acadie and the Société des Acadiens et Acadiennes du Nouveau-Brunswick. Acadian pioneer families such as the Boudreaus and Doucets settled there in the late 18th century.
